Your Autumn drink of choice
As late Autumn/Winter approaches, it is definitely the season for brewing up some yummy chai. We offer 5 different chai variations through our online store, all utilising real tea bases and fresh whole spices. We also have a locally blended sticky chai for those who visit our retail store in Mornington.
The best way to brew chai is using a briki pot on the stove. Traditionally used for coffee in the Mediterranean and Middle East, this method will ensure the most flavour from your chai. Measure one soup spoon of chai mix per person into the pot. Add a splash of hot water and leave for one minute. Then, pour in cold milk and set on the stove. Simmer until heated through. You can then set aside to infuse flavour for a few minutes longer. Strain into a mug and you're done. Enjoy!
